How long does it take to book a surgery?
You can schedule your surgery on the day of your consultation. Most surgeries are scheduled within 4 to 6 weeks, while non-surgical treatments may be performed on the same day as your consultation.
How much time should I take off work after surgery?
Recovery time varies depending on the procedure. However, most patients require 1 to 3 weeks off work. We can provide a discreet doctor’s note if you need it for your employer.
Will there be any charges for follow-up visits after surgery?
No, all your post-surgery follow-up appointments are included in the cost of the procedure. We believe in providing continuous care for the best results.
How many post-operative appointments will I need?
You will have a series of follow-up visits, typically starting with a one-week check-up to remove sutures, bandages, or casts. After that, Dr. Brace will want to see you at one month, three months, six months, and one year post-surgery to ensure everything is healing as expected.
When will I see the final results of my surgery?
The majority of the changes will be visible within the first month after surgery, with swelling and bruising significantly reduced. Full results will continue to improve over the next 6 months, and in some cases, you’ll see final results up to a year later.
When is it safe to travel after surgery?
We recommend avoiding travel during the first couple of weeks following surgery. If you’re coming from out of town, we advise staying at least one week post-surgery. For personal vacations or trips, we suggest waiting for a minimum of two weeks to ensure proper recovery.
