Rhinoplasty + Revision Rhinoplasty

This patient is shown at three stages of her surgical journey:
- Pre-op
- 1 year post-primary septorhinoplasty
- 4 months post-revision rhinoplasty
While her initial rhinoplasty achieved significant improvement, she continued to experience deviation of the caudal septum, which gradually shifted to the right.
After careful assessment and open discussion, she opted for a revision rhinoplasty using a costochondral (rib) graft to reinforce and straighten the nasal structure.
Dr. Brace’s approach to revision surgery was tailored to correct both form and function, with transparency about surgical risks, expected recovery, and the patient’s role in long-term healing.
It’s important to understand that revision surgery can be a normal part of the process, even after well-executed primary rhinoplasties.
Healing is dynamic, and small shifts in cartilage can occur over time. Our goal is always to support patients through every step of their journey with informed care and individualized planning.
