𝟏 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐏: Revision Rhinoplasty
𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝘿𝙧. 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚
This patient came to our clinic after multiple previous nasal surgeries, including balloon sinuplasty, septoplasty, and open septorhinoplasty with spreader grafts - all without improvement in his nasal breathing or the appearance of his nose.
He presented with both cosmetic and functional concerns:
• Retruded columella and septum in the left nostril
• Bump on the profile
• Leftward deviation of the nasal skeleton and cartilage
• C-shaped septal deviation
To address these issues, Dr. Brace performed a revision external approach rhinoplasty. The surgical plan included:
✔️ Profileplasty to create a straight, smooth dorsum
✔️ Osteotomies to realign the nasal bones
✔️ Septal excision explant and replant for septal support
✔️ Anchoring to the nasal spine for stability
✔️ Advanced tip positioning techniques for balanced, symmetrical results
At 1 year post-op, this patient’s nose is straighter, more refined, and most importantly - he’s breathing better and feeling more confident.
Revision rhinoplasty is a complex procedure, especially after multiple previous surgeries. Each plan is fully customized to restore both function and appearance, using advanced grafting and structural techniques to achieve the best possible outcome.
